Hi Izzy! I think your cover letter is great. It is clear and concise, and really shows your dedication and passion for pediatric nursing. You really sold yourself and described yourself well to the employer in the second paragraph.
You also could mention how you would offer a different perspective with your care due to your time on BBCH! This might appeal to the employer since you would be able to empathize with the patient and their families.

I really like how you described yourself as a vote of confidence as well! The only small-tweak I would make is the spelling of Barbara throughout the 1st + 2nd paragraphs :).
