Hi Izzy! I think your resume is really great and very detailed. It is clear you took a lot of time to fill each category in with skills, dates, and hours! The only thing I saw that maybe you could do is make the text all the same color (other than the green headers, which I like) and maybe make some of the other headers different sizes! It will make each section pop. Overall, good job!
Cover letter: Nice work on your cover letter! I can tell you are passionate about your future career. I would recommend splitting your second paragraph into 2. Keeping the paragraphs brief will help keep your potential employer’s attention. I would also add some of Barbra Bush’s specific goals/values and how you can meet them specifically.
Resume: Impressive resume! I really like the formatting and found it easy to read. I would suggest trying to condense your resume if possible. I think a good section to trim some writing from would be your clinical experience. While it is good to include unique things you experienced, it may be overwhelming for someone to read. Good job!
Izzy, I like the layout of your resume, and the contrasting colors are helpful, making it easy to read! The volunteer section is super helpful and applicable to the job you will be applying for too. It is a bit long, I would maybe consider condensing two sentences into one in some of the sections. Also, the experience with hosting/waitress and barista are great in regard to customer service, however, I’m not sure it 100% applies to being a pediatric RN (maybe that could make it shorter too?). Definitely keep the caretaker position!!
