My name is Isabella Roy. I’m from Falmouth Maine and I am a nursing student at UNE. My goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse at the Barbra Bush Children’s Hospital because I love the endless curiosity and mind of children. I hope to help the patients feel better while making them laugh. I have always been drawn to nursing because of the lung disease I was born with called, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD). My chronic disease enhances my ability to relate to the kids as I was in their position not long ago.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and trying new things with my siblings. I love to spend time outdoors and am a big fan of Maine’s beautiful beaches and Idaho’s mountains. I am also a very adventurous eater, so I like going to many different restaurants around Portland.
