In my second paper, I had one local revision that Carole found in my paper. My original paper said “Assimilations’ negative connotation was also shown in Yoshino’s article” but the issue with this was the apostrophe with the word assimilations. In order to fix this mistake I will take out the apostrophe but keep the “s” at the end of the word. My first draft had no local revision that I had to fix. I try to avoid making many grammatical errors by rereading my paper out loud before I turn it in.
